29.04.2009 Reinsurance company Profile Re has received a new license form April 16, 2009 Federal Insurance Supervision Service (FSSN) granted OJSC Profile Re a new license form for reinsurance because of the change reinsurer’s location. 28.04.2009 OJSC Profile Re has paid Open Joint-Stock Insurance Company Yakor 620.0 thousand rubles. April 27, 2009, Profile Re Reinsurance Company has paid insurance indemnity to Open Joint-Stock Insurance Company Yakor equal to 620.0 thousand rubles.

Profile Re Company took part in ‘Reinsurance in Russia and the CIS countries. New investment opportunities and success strategies’ International Forum. The event was held in Zurich , from October 9 to October 10.

OJSC Profile Re CEO spoke on ‘Transparency of a reinsurance company’ topic. Eugene Stanchenko devoted part of his report to the impact of global financial crisis on competition among reinsurers.

During the panel dispute on attracting foreign investment to the reinsurance market Mr. Stanchenko took part in the discussion of pressing problems, answered the questions of the audience.
